DOVEHOUSE EDITIONS |
![]() |
| We
take pleasure in offering works not only by established composers, but
also by lesser-known worthies. Many of the works in our three Dovehouse
series we believe will become standard repertoire in the future.
Each of our editions is prepared from all known variant sources.
Our introductions are concise and informative, written with the scholar
as well as the performer in mind. For scholars, we have clearly
noted all editorial alterations and additions. For performers,
we have supplied individual parts for each player, ‘clean’ keyboard realizations
where applicable, and we have endeavored to eliminate awkward page turns
wherever possible.
Our editions are individually designed, printed on high-quality paper and published in limited quantities. Without compromising our high standards, we have kept prices as low as modern production costs will allow. We are pleased to feature the editions of our three Dovehouse series on this web site. As you browse the sheet music lists, they will be easily identifiable by the letter prefixes: BCMS - Baroque Chamber Music Series IRCS - Italian Renaissance Consort Series VDGS - Viola da Gamba Series |
